宁波是“三江六塘河，一湖居其中”的宜居城市，是中国大运河南端出海口、“海上丝绸之路”东方始发港，枕山、滨海、拥江、揽湖是宁波特有的地理格局和资源特色。

Ningbo, a city known for its livability, is blessed with a distinctive geographical layout, abundant natural resources, and a harmonious blend of three great rivers, meandering canals, and the peaceful Moon Lake. As the southern terminus of the Grand Canal of China and the gateway to the Maritime Silk Road, this enchanting city beautifully combines ruggedmountains, sparkling seas, and the tranquil embrace of rivers and lakes.

四明山——“天然氧吧”“避暑胜地”。分布在宁波市西部的余姚、海曙西南和奉化，平均海拔700米，有着“第二庐山”美誉，诗人李白等曾为四明山美景纵情吟咏。

Siming Mountains: "Nature's Oxygen Bar" and "Escape from the Summer Heat." Situated in the western part of Ningbo (including Yuyao, southwestern Haishu,and Fenghua), Siming Mountains – with an average elevation of 700 meters – is acclaimed as the "Second Mount Lu." Renowned poets like Li Bai have praised and extolled its captivating beauty.

月湖——宁波宋韵文化集中展示地。国家5A级旅游景区，因宽处像满月、狭处如眉月而得名。宋元年间建成的月湖十洲，成为浙东学术中心，是文人墨客憩息荟萃之地。北宋名臣王安石、南宋宰相史浩、宋代著名学者杨简、明末清初大史学家万斯同等风流人物都曾在月湖或隐居、或讲学、或为官、或著书。

Moon Lake: Reflecting the local charm of the Song Dynasty. As a national 5A-level tourist attraction, the lake stands at the center of Ningbo, named for its resemblance to a full moon at its widest and a crescent moon at its narrowest.During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, the construction of ten islets in the lake established it as an academic center of East Zhejiang and a favored gathering place for literati. A number of prominent figures from Chinese history took residence, delivered lectures, held official posts, or wrote books here. Among them, you can find Wang Anshi, a renowned minister of the Northern Song Dynasty; Shi Hao, a chancellor of the Southern Song Dynasty; Yang Jian, a famous scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty; and Wan Sitong, a great historian from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.

东钱湖——浙江省最大的天然淡水湖。国家级旅游度假区和国家体育旅游示范基地，被郭沫若先生誉为“西湖风光，太湖气魄”，集聚了宋韵文化等文化基因。环湖有小普陀、马山休闲旅游区等景区景点以及单车驿站、帆船基地、高尔夫度假村等体育休闲地，拥有步行、舟行、骑行、车行“四行东钱湖”大众休闲产品。

Dongqian Lake: Zhejiang Province's magnificent freshwater gem. This gem is not only the largest natural freshwater lake in the province but also a nationally recognized tourist resort, showcasing the perfect blend of West Lake's elegance and Taihu Lake's grandeur. As the renowned Chinese literary figure Guo Moruo once praised, Dongqian Lake is filled with cultural heritage that embodies the charm of the Song Dynasty, the wisdom of wealth culture, and so on. Surrounding the lake, you'll discover captivating attractions like the Small Putuo Scenic Area and the Mashan Wetland, as well as various sports and leisure facilities, including bicycle stations, sailing bases, and golf resorts. Embarking on a journey around this picturesque destination can be experienced through walking, boating, cycling, or driving, providing endless opportunities for exploration and enjoyment.

梅山湾——集海洋、文化、旅游、体育于一体的滨海旅游度假区。浙江省级旅游度假区，拥有中国港口博物馆、梅山湾沙滩公园、宁波国际赛道、梅山湾冰雪大世界、万博鱼体育旅游度假区、梅山红桥等核心旅游景点，汇集海洋主题游乐、体育运动休闲、文化研学旅游等多元业态于一体。

Meishan Bay: A coastal reort integrating ocean, culture, tourism and sports. 宁波湾——全宁波近郊唯一的蓝色海湾。浙江省级旅游度假区，是宁波少有的蓝海片区，东海的三大著名渔港之一，被联合国开发计划署授予“绿色发展中国试点”。度假区集聚高端酒店、商业街区、渔人码头、精品赛事等资源共同打造“运动之海、休闲之湾”。

Ningbo Bay: The only blue bay in the entire outskirts of Ningbo. As a provincial-level resort in Zhejiang, the bay represents one of the scarce blue sea areas in Ningbo. It stands as one of the three renowned fishing ports in the East China Sea, and recognized as the "Pilot Project of Green Development in China" by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). 大目湾——拥有枕山滨海独特资源优势。周边有松兰山滨海旅游度假区（杭州第19届亚运会帆船赛事举办地）、阿拉的海水上乐园等一批滨海旅游区域。大目湾新城将建设成为具有一流滨海风情，集海洋景观、海上运动、养生康疗、休闲度假、时尚居住于一体的滨海休闲新城。

Damu Bay: Boasting unique resource advantages with mountains and sea in close proximity. The surrounding region features a cluster of coastal tourist destinations, including the Songlanshan Coastal Tourist Resort (venue for the Sailing Events of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou) and Our Sea Water Park. The Damu Bay New Town will be developed into a first-class coastal area, integrating marine landscapes, watersports, health and wellness therapies, leisure vacations, and stylish living.
